Ramps, 2019 | Frederic, Wisconsin, USA
In May 2019, I led an experiential workshop in Frederic, Wisconsin pertaining to the ephemeral plant species, ramps (Allium tricoccum). The event was part of the 2019 iteration of Field Experience and included a deep listening exercise, ramp forage, and community-building through collaborative pizza-making and a shared meal.
Funded by a Visual Arts Fund Grant with support from the Andy Warhol Foundation, Field Experience is an annual program founded by Julka Almquist aimed at inspiring a sense of reciprocity with nature through the exploration of diverse landscapes.
